These events are run in a small group (women only) as a half-day course at the fully private LIFTED studio (TN14 7EQ)
The Learn to Lift Masterclass courses are for those who don't know how to lift weights for the training stimulus required for maintaining and improving muscle & bone density. This is an introduction specifically to structured resistance training where you will learn both theory and practical elements; you get to know the how, what and why
You won't feel awkward or out of place as everyone is in the same boat. We are in a private space with no one else watching on, so we can make fools of ourselves as much as we want and have fun with it!
All ages (over 16), shapes, sizes and fitness levels are welcome. You don't have to look a certain way to lift weights - EVERYONE should be doing it. You don't have to have a certain level of fitness either - we find the right starting point for you and you learn how to build up from there
This course is a mixture of theory and practical. You will learn the basic strength training principles, how to lift weights using the correct form and techniques, and put an effective strength training workout together without the ongoing expense of personal training
At the end of the course you will take away a home dumbbell training programme & log book and will also have the opportunity to join weekly LIFTED Strength Training Classes if you so wish (subject to availability)

This online course is self-paced and takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete. It is a mixture of theory and practical elements, with the option at the end to book an in-person or online movement assessment with me

This is like a mini-version of the Learn to Lift Masterclass, in a one-to-one setting. Come into the fully private LIFTED studio (TN14 7EQ) for a 90-minute 1:1 overview of strength training principles and movement introduction
On completion you can take away a home dumbbell training programme & log book, and will also have the opportunity to join weekly LIFTED Strength Training Classes if you so wish (subject to availability)
