True strength classes with a structured resistance programme are hard to come by, so I have created one specifically for everyday women who want to keep their body strong with my guidance and accountability, but without the expense of 1:1 Personal Training or the sometimes uncomfortable feeling of lifting weights alone in a gym
There are no egos here; just a friendly & supportive group of ladies listening to cheesy pop, having a chat & a laugh, whilst lifting heavy stuff and getting strong!
We are in a private space with no one else watching on. All ages (over 16), shapes, sizes and fitness levels are welcome. You don't have to look a certain way to lift weights - EVERYONE should be doing it. You don't have to have a certain level of fitness either - we find the right starting point for you and then progress from there
There is a maximum of 6 people per class, and we use a mix of resistance equipment such as dumbbells and barbells, with a focus on progressive overload. We follow the same structured programme for a minimum of 6-weeks with each member tracking their own progress via my app
These classes are for all levels from beginner upwards, but as it is a group setting and a very unique and structured resistance training class, members do require a basic understanding of strength training principles and to have practiced some of the basic movements before they start. This can be done via one of the Learn to Lift methods (then receive £10 off your first class block-booking)
